Unfold & Fly
When coming out of the chrysalis,
the butterfly unfolds its wings to fly.
We also go through our unfolding process
to discover our essence and fly.
Unfold & Fly’s wish is to inspire you
with love, joy, compassion, kindness, awareness,
connection, imagination, and peace of mind.
The name Unfold & Fly was inspired on a butterfly coming out of the chrysalis, a bird spreading its wings, a child opening a book… to fly!
Unfold & Fly starts as a tiny business in 2020, to bring art as a tool for inner development.
I am Marcia Misawa, an artist fascinated by childhood, the human nature, inner development and book arts.
I was born in Brazil, granddaughter of Japanese immigrants, and now I live in Florida – USA with my husband and my 2 sons. I have bachelor degree in Communication/Advertising at ECA-USP in São Paulo, postgraduate in Ethical Development and I'm a meditation practitioner. I work with children's book illustration, watercolor and handmade books. I'm a former member and former of BabaYaga collective, that makes indie books for children.
